Welcome to SLAVA Publishing—a carefully selected collection of resources for double bass players and cellists.

The New Year and a new semester are starting!  Slava has dropped the price on George Vance's Progressive Repertoire books and Francois Rabbath's Nouvelle Technique books.  Why don't you start off the New Year exploring books from these distinguished pedagogues?

Slava Publishing proudly carries two different kinds of bass endpins. 

• We are the only authorized distributor of Laborie endpins in the United States.  Christian Laborie exports them from France directly to us.  Directions for installation can be downloaded from the website.
• We also carry bent endpins.  These are bent according to your specifications to just the right length.  Perfect for anyone who wants to try a bent endpin without drilling a hole in the bass!

SLAVA Publishing provides sheet music, instruments and other materials aimed at discriminating teachers and performers. Slava Publishing was established by George Vance, developer of an innovative method of teaching the bass to young players and others. Martha Vance is now continuing the excellent tradition.
